About Us

Daniel is the founder of Solar Motion and serves as the CEO of the company. He began his journey as a part of the solar industry in 2006 and has since been devoted to learning all areas of the business for the past 15 years. Over the years he has overseen around 700 solar installations and has personal experience in almost every area of the process, from consulting to sales, design, installation, utility interconnection and working with AHJ for keeping the flow of the installation- he knows what it takes to get the job done right every time. 

For the past 2 years he has brought all of his experience full-circle and has been dedicated to making Solar Motion a forward-thinking, energy and solar installation company. Daniel is a man who holds teamwork to the highest standard and has been committed to building a team of well-versed professionals to collaborate and build Solar Motion into the customer-first company he envisions. As a family man, Daniel understands the value of feeling safe and comfortable in your home and his goal with each project is to give you the feeling of security in your home’s energy and to provide an on-going relationship so you’re never left in the dark. He is excited about what the future looks like for Solar Motion and the solar community!

Jesse serves as the Chief Operations Officer at Solar Motion. He has over 24 years of experience in residential, commercial and industrial electrical construction. He oversees and sets the highest industry standards in engineering and construction to ensure each customer that their system is designed and built to last. More than seventeen years of his experience are specific to residential, commercial, and utility-scale solar system engineering, construction, and service. Jesse has led ~840 commercial and more than 10,000 residential solar projects across the nation from Hawaii to the East Coast which has made him a seasoned professional when it comes to setting the operational standards for all facets of Solar Motion’s business.

 His experience is complemented by his impressive education and certifications. Jesse is a graduate of California Polytechnic University in San Luis Obispo, California with a Bachelors of Science in Mechanical Engineering. He has also been a leader in his field as the chair of the CALSSA EHS Committee, NABCEP Certified Installation Professional, and as an authorized OSHA outreach instructor. Jesse offers both vast experience in a wide-array of projects, as well as a top-tier education from a highly-regarded institution, which is why we are thrilled to have him to help set the level of excellence here at Solar Motion. With Jesse on the Solar Motion team, we can assure you that the standard of work on your project has been set to the highest degree of care!

Marianna serves as the Accounts Payable Director at Solar Motion. She is an analytical problem solver with over 15 years of marketing experience in the technology industry. Marianna is no stranger to working on successful corporate teams and in her role at Solar Motion she has utilized that experience in teamwork and leadership to keep us organized and always working together. She is an excellent collaborator and a forward-thinker, always bringing wonderful new ideas to help push Solar Motion forward as a premier solar company. 

Education has been the foundation of Marianna’s experience in marketing. She received her B.A from University of California, Santa Cruz and has continued to apply and grow her education in marketing roles with large and small companies over the years. Marianna’s skill set and education have given her a special perspective on growing a business and she has been a key asset to the on-going growth of Solar Motion. We are so happy to have a seasoned professional and incredible thought-leader like Marianna on the Solar Motion team!

Taylor serves as our Director of Marketing at Solar Motion. Over the past 5 years she has built a diverse marketing portfolio with work ranging from large corporations to small businesses. She specializes in creative marketing and content creation and has used this skill set to bring a personality and human touch to the brands and companies she has worked with. Taylor has a love for bringing the stories behind a company to life and has been utilizing that passion and her skills to do that for Solar Motion. 

Her path to a creative marketing career is founded in her education at the University of Kentucky where she received a Bachelors of Science degree in Fashion Merchandising and a Minor in Business. She continued her education with certifications in Adobe InDesign, Photoshop, and Illustrator from Emory College so that she could expand her creative capabilities. Combining those learned skills with her knack for brand story-telling is what makes her a valuable asset to Solar Motion. As the youngest member of the Solar Motion team she brings her own perspectives and unique experiences to the marketing role and looks forward to helping the company grow within the renewable energy industry!
